The Ascent 1100 is the warmest in the Ascent series. It's an adventure - ready sleeping bag filled with 1100g of 650FP European duck down, featuring a Nikwax Fluorocarbon - Free Hydrophobic Finish. The outer is made of recycled Pertex Quantum, and it has a recycled nylon lining. This bag has a wide mummy shape, offering a spacious and comfortable feel, perfect for first - time buyers for extremely cold conditions. With trapezoid boxwall baffles, it allows the down to loft fully and reduces cold spots. Hand - filled in the UK, the down retains its loft and warmth. The bag has a ¾ length main zip with a down - filled baffle to block draughts, and a close - fitting neck baffle to keep heat in. There's an internal zipped stash pocket for your phone or headlamp. It comes with a cotton storage sack and a compression stuff sack for easy packing. You can even zip two bags (left and right zipped) together. Bag Weight: 1.725 kg / 3.80 lbs (Reg), Fill Weight: 1.1 kg / 2.43 lbs (Reg).

Using this Ascent 1100 down sleeping bag is easy. Just unzip the compression stuff sack and let the bag fluff up for a while to regain its full loft. When you're ready to sleep, simply get inside and zip up the main ¾ length zip. The close - fitting neck baffle can be adjusted around your neck to keep the heat in. You can store small items like your phone or headlamp in the internal zipped stash pocket. If you're with a partner, make sure you have one left - zipped and one right - zipped bag so you can zip them together. When it's time to pack up, first put the bag in the cotton storage sack. Then, use the compression stuff sack to compress the bag for easy transport. For maintenance, keep the bag dry. If it gets wet, dry it thoroughly in a well - ventilated area. Avoid machine - washing as much as possible, as it can damage the down. If necessary, follow the instructions on the care label for gentle cleaning.
