The Telos two-person freestanding tent is a game-changer for ultralight backpacking. Sea to Summit's engineers aimed to design a tent that's easy to set up and packed with smart functional features, and they've definitely succeeded. Backpacker Magazine gave the Telos tent line their Editor’s Choice Award for three great reasons: it offers plenty of space, excellent ventilation, and high versatility. The tent has a floor area of 2.60 m² (28.0 ft²), weighs only 1.48 kg (3.27 lbs), and comes with two vestibules, each with an area of 0.9 m² (9.8 ft²). It's a freestanding design, making it convenient for your outdoor adventures.

Setting up the Telos TR2 tent is a breeze. First, find a flat and dry spot for your tent. Unroll it and lay it out on the ground. Then, insert the poles through the designated sleeves and connect them to form the tent's frame. Stake down the corners and guy lines to secure it in place. When using the tent, make sure to keep the ventilation windows open to prevent condensation buildup. This will also keep the air inside fresh. For maintenance, after each use, shake off any dirt or debris. If it gets dirty, you can gently clean it with mild soap and water. Let it dry completely before packing it away. Store the tent in a cool, dry place to extend its lifespan. Avoid storing it wet as this can lead to mold and mildew growth. When packing, fold the tent neatly and put it back in its carrying bag. Remember, handle the tent gently to avoid any tears or damage to the fabric.
