The Crankbrothers Mallet Trail BOA clip - in shoe is an ideal mix of high - performance and adventurous spirit. Designed for the trail or your upcoming enduro race, it offers all - day comfort along with top - notch racing performance. Its lightweight yet tough rip - stop upper comes with a TPU - reinforced toebox for better protection and a flexible ankle collar to keep debris out. A fiber - reinforced shank and an aggressive outsole lug pattern boost pedaling efficiency and provide all - terrain adaptability for every ride. Our innovative Match System is great for any MTB clip - in system, be it Crankbrothers or SPD. It comes pre - installed with a Match shim and a Crankbrothers cleat in a neutral position, so you can start riding with Crankbrothers pedals right after opening the box.

How to use: Put on the shoes like you would with regular cycling shoes. Adjust the BOA closure for a snug fit. If you're using Crankbrothers pedals, you're ready to go as the cleats are pre - installed. For other MTB clip - in systems, make sure to adjust according to the Match System. Things to note: Don't use these shoes for non - cycling activities as it may damage the sole and cleats. Avoid wearing them in extremely muddy conditions for long periods as debris can get stuck in the outsole. Maintenance advice: After each ride, clean the shoes with a damp cloth to remove dirt. Let them dry naturally away from direct heat. Check the cleats regularly for wear and tear and replace them when necessary.
