The Ember down quilt is a multi - season wonder. It's insulated with RDS - certified goose down that has a fill power of 850 or more. This down comes with a non - PFC Ultra - Dry Down treatment, offering an outstanding warmth - to - weight ratio. In warm weather, you can easily ventilate the quilt to stay comfy. When it gets cold, the drawcord footbox helps trap heat. The quilt's shell is made of light, breathable 10D nylon fabric treated with a non - PFC DWR finish to ward off moisture, while the 10D nylon liner provides pure comfort. You can secure the Ember to your sleeping mat using the attached straps. Or, in colder conditions, use the integrated QuiltLock system to add it to your Sea to Summit sleeping bag for extra warmth. The regular length quilt weighs 544 g (1.2 lbs) and has a fill weight of 350 g (12.3 oz). It features a tapered quilt shape.

Using your Ember down quilt is a breeze. First, if you're using it on a sleeping mat, simply use the attached straps to secure it in place. This will prevent it from slipping off during the night. If it's cold and you have a Sea to Summit sleeping bag, connect the quilt to it using the QuiltLock system for added warmth. The drawcord footbox can be adjusted according to the temperature. Pull it tight when it's really cold to keep your feet warm. In warmer conditions, open up the quilt to let the air circulate. When it comes to maintenance, spot clean it if there are small stains. For a more thorough clean, take it to a professional cleaner who has experience with down products. Avoid machine washing and drying unless the label specifically says it's okay. Store the quilt in a cool, dry place, and if possible, in a breathable storage bag to keep the down fluffy and in good condition.
