Designed for expert and passionate trekkers, these walking poles come with outstanding technical features. Their most remarkable trait is extreme compactness, taking up only 52 cm of space when the sections are closed. Crafted in 4 sections (ø18 - 16 - 14 - 12 mm) using Calu®Tech, which combines an AluTech 7075 core with top - notch 100% Full Carbon fiber, these poles offer an excellent balance of lightness, strength, and flexibility. The poles are fitted with a Palmo grip that has a lightweight strap with a minimal buckle. The new Wing Lock blocking system for the ø 18 mm section is incredibly user - friendly, allowing for easy and rapid pole adjustment. The expansion BS System for the ø 16 - 14 mm sections is made of DuPont® plastics, ensuring high performance in both high and low temperatures over a long period. The new Tip - Top support system with a carbide tip makes it a breeze to replace the basket. They can be closed down to 52 cm and extended from a minimum of 110 cm up to a maximum of 130 cm. Each pole weighs just 218g and comes with a pair of top baskets ø 85mm.
Using these walking poles is easy. First, adjust the length according to your comfort. You can use the Wing Lock system for the 18mm section and the BS System for the 16 - 14mm sections to make the adjustments. When you're on a trek, hold the poles by the Palmo grip. The strap can help keep the poles secure in your hands. To change the basket, use the Tip - Top system with the carbide tip. As for maintenance, after each use, clean the poles with a damp cloth to remove dirt. Store them in a dry place. Avoid exposing them to extreme heat or cold for long periods as it might affect the performance of the DuPont® plastics in the BS System. Also, be careful not to drop or hit the poles hard as it could damage the carbon fiber and the AluTech core.
