The MTL MQM, which means Moving Quickly over Mountains, is the ultimate all - in - one tool for hiking. This amazing hybrid functions like three shoes rolled into one. The front part acts like a climbing shoe, the back is perfect for hiking, and it's so agile that you can even run in them. When the ground gets slippery, the MQM comes with two Vibram® outsole rubbers to ensure top - notch traction. These shoes are developed in the Merrell Test Lab, our product innovation hub. All MTL shoes are thoroughly tested and approved by Merrell athletes, meeting our highest standards for elite performance. Key features include a breathable mesh and TPU upper, 100% recycled laces and webbing, an internal bootie for a snug fit, a TPU waterproof shell for extra protection, a microfiber lining, a removable PU footbed, a 100% recycled mesh footbed cover, a rock plate for protection, a Super Rebound Compound for durable shock absorption to reduce torque and enable a smooth midfoot transition. The Vibram® MegaGrip® outsole offers great grip on both dry and wet terrains with high durability, and the Vibram® Idrogrip outsole provides maximum grip in wet outdoor settings. The stack height (heel/toe) is 25.5 - 19.5mm, the drop is 6.0mm, and the lug depth is 5.0mm. They are also vegan - friendly and weigh 510g.
How to use: Put on these shoes just like you would with any other pair. Tie the 100% recycled laces tightly for a secure fit. They're great for hiking on different terrains, whether it's dry or wet, and you can even go for a run in them. Just make sure to adjust your walking or running pace according to the ground conditions. Attention: Although the shoes have a TPU waterproof shell, don't submerge them in water for a long time. The outsole offers good grip, but still be careful on extremely slippery surfaces. Maintenance advice: After use, clean the shoes with a soft brush and mild soap. Let them air - dry away from direct heat. You can remove the PU footbed and clean it separately. If the laces get dirty, you can wash them as well since they're made of 100% recycled material.
