The Access series tents are a perfect choice for your winter backcountry adventures, whether you're going solo or with a few friends. These tents have been updated with rainfly vents and a swivel pole hub, allowing you to enjoy a comfortable stay in the winter backcountry without the burden of heavy mountaineering tents. They are lighter than MSR mountaineering tents and warmer than backpacking tents, offering skiers, splitboarders, and snowshoers a sturdy base for their mountain activities. Features: - Robust Design: With a swivel pole hub for quick setup, the tent's central support frame can withstand high winds and heavy snow. The almost indestructible Easton Syclone Poles enhance its durability. - Reliable Protection: The durable fabrics provide full protection and warmth in cold weather and snow at the tree line. - Comfortable Living Space: The rainfly vents reduce condensation, and the large vestibules protect your gear, giving you more room inside the tent. Specifications: - Colour: Sunset Orange / Maroon - Capacity: 2 - Minimum Weight: 1.64 kg - Packed Weight: 1.98 kg - Floor Area: 2.69 sq. m - Tent Volume: 1586 liters - Vestibule Volume: 481 L - Vestibule Area: 1.62 sq. m - Interior Peak Height: 107 cm - Packed Size: 46 x 15 cm - Number of Doors: 2 - Freestanding: Yes - Number of Poles: 1 Easton Syclone - Rainfly Fabric: 20D ripstop nylon 1200 mm XtremeShield polyurethane & silicone - Canopy Fabric: 20D ripstop nylon / 10D polyester micromesh - Floor Fabric: 30D ripstop nylon 3000 mm XtremeShield polyurethane & DWR

Using the MSR Access 2 tent is a breeze. First, find a flat and dry area in the winter backcountry. Unpack the tent and use the swivel pole hub to quickly set up the central support frame with the Easton Syclone pole. Then attach the rainfly and make sure to secure it well. You can place your gear in the large vestibules to keep the inside of the tent more spacious. When it comes to safety, always check the weather forecast before setting up the tent. If there are strong winds or heavy snow warnings, consider finding a more sheltered spot. Also, make sure the tent is properly staked down to prevent it from being blown away. For maintenance, after each use, shake off any snow or dirt from the tent. Let it dry completely before packing it up. If there are any small tears in the fabric, you can use a repair kit to fix them. Store the tent in a cool and dry place to prolong its lifespan.
