Using the MSR Elixir tent is a breeze. First, pick a flat and dry spot for your tent. Lay out the footprint on the ground and then unfold the tent on top of it. Connect the color - coded poles to the corresponding clips and webbing on the tent. You'll notice the red vestibules which make it easier to set up quickly. Once the poles are in place, stake down the tent to keep it secure. When it comes to using the tent, enjoy the extra headroom provided by the unique pole geometry. You can store your gear in the vestibules. As for maintenance, after each use, make sure to shake off any dirt or debris. If it gets wet, dry it thoroughly before packing it away. This helps prevent mold and mildew. When packing the tent, follow the original packing method to keep it in good shape and make future set - ups easier.
