The Maxxis Ardent is a great choice for dry, hard - packed trails. It's a light - duty trail tire that offers fast rolling in dry conditions. If you want similar rolling speed along with better braking and cornering, the Rekon is worth a look. It comes with single or dual compound options, a 60 TPI casing, and some models have EXO sidewall protection. Select specs are Tubeless Ready (TR), so check the table below. This tire is suitable for both front and rear installation. The EXO is a super cut - and abrasion - resistant material on the sidewalls of select mountain tires. It's light and flexible, so it doesn't affect the tire's performance. Use it on rocky, tough trails to avoid sidewall damage. Tubeless tires offer many perks like lower air pressure for better traction, less rolling resistance compared to tube - type tires, and a lower chance of flats. Just remember, use liquid sealants only in tubeless road, tubular, and tubeless ready tires. Using them in other Maxxis tires will void the warranty. Also, wirebead tyres (unfoldable) can't be shipped to Australia.

How to Use: You can install the Maxxis Ardent tire either on the front or rear of your bike, depending on your preference. It's best for dry, hard - packed trails. If you're riding on rocky and treacherous trails, go for the version with EXO sidewall protection. For the Tubeless Ready (TR) specs, you can take advantage of the benefits of tubeless tires, but make sure to use liquid sealants only as recommended. Attention: Don't use liquid sealants in non - tubeless road, non - tubular, and non - tubeless ready Maxxis tires, as it will void the warranty. Also, note that wirebead tyres (unfoldable) can't be shipped to Australia. Maintenance: Regularly check the tire for any signs of wear and tear, especially on the sidewalls if you're using the EXO protection. Keep the tire properly inflated according to the recommended pressure for optimal performance.
