The Maxxis 700c Rambler Tyre is our top - selling gravel tire, boasting multiple race victories and countless miles of backroad escapades. Its center knobs are closely packed and ramped, which guarantees excellent rolling efficiency on hard - packed roads and asphalt. The cornering knobs have a wider spacing, providing reliable control in diverse conditions. This tire comes with a dual - compound design, offering two casing options: 60 TPI or 120 TPI. You can also choose between SilkShield or EXO puncture protection. Some selected specifications are Tubeless Ready (TR), and you can confirm this in the table below. It belongs to the gravel category, and is recommended for use on pavement, asphalt, dirt roads, and gravel. It can be installed on both the front and rear wheels. EXO is a cut - and abrasion - resistant material applied to the sidewalls of many Maxxis mountain bike and gravel tires. This lightweight and highly flexible fabric ensures that the tire's performance remains intact. Opt for EXO Protection for greater durability during gravel, XC, and light - duty trail riding. SilkShield offers comprehensive protection from bead to bead, while Silkworm is only found under the tread. It provides an extra layer of protection for both the sidewalls and the area under the tread. Tubeless tires offer several advantages, such as the ability to use lower air pressures for better traction, lower rolling resistance compared to tube - type tires, and a reduced risk of flatting since there is no tube. Liquid sealants should only be used in tubeless road, tubular, and tubeless ready tires. Using liquid sealants in any other Maxxis tire will void the warranty.

Using your Maxxis 700c Rambler Tyre is a breeze. You can install it on both the front and rear wheels of your gravel bike. When riding, it performs great on different surfaces like pavement, asphalt, dirt roads, and gravel. If you choose the tubeless - ready option, you can run lower air pressures for better traction, but remember to use liquid sealants only in tubeless road, tubular, and tubeless - ready tires. Using sealants in other types won't be covered by the warranty. For maintenance, regularly check the tire for any signs of wear or damage, especially the sidewalls if you've opted for EXO or SilkShield protection. If you notice any cuts or excessive wear, it might be time to replace the tire. Also, keep an eye on the air pressure and adjust it according to the terrain you're riding on.
